Post It Activities (WDHS)
WDHS’s HEART team set up a table in the atrium and asked their peers the question: “What are positive/negative things you see in the school?” Here are some of their responses!

16 Days Assembly (Sir Allan MacNab)
December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, in honour of the 14 young women who were killed at Polytechnique Montreal in 1989 in a violent act of misogyny.
MacNab’s HEART team held a moment of silence in honour of this day. Then they performed a skit displaying various unhealthy situations, which the audience participated in by raising their hands to stop the situation. The actors then repeated the situation in which a bystander stepped in to stop the situation. To end the assembly, the team ran a trivia game on general GBV knowledge, bystander techniques and red flags/green flags.

Trivia Bingo (WDHS)
WDHS’s HEART team hosted a Trivia Bingo game on general GBV knowledge, bystander intervention strategies, and healthy and unhealthy relationship signs. The team would ask a question related to these topics, and players would have to find the answer on their bingo card in order to get a BINGO!
